Just Merge PDFMerge PDFs

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Your PDFs are processed on your device.

This policy describes the current Just Merge PDF app. The app does not upload selected documents, filenames, or merged output to a server.

Documents and filenames

When you choose a file, the app reads its contents and filename in your browser to display the document list and combine pages. The resulting PDF is created locally and downloaded when you request it. We do not receive these documents through the merger and cannot retrieve them for you.

Temporary processing and downloads

The app holds selected document data in browser memory while the page is open. It does not deliberately save your PDFs to cookies, local storage, or an online account. Reloading or closing the page ends the app’s working session; this is not a promise of secure erasure from your device. Files you download remain wherever your browser saves them until you remove them.

Cookies and analytics

The current app includes no analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies, or third-party font requests. Its PDF library is bundled with the app. Your browser may cache the app’s static files, such as its scripts and stylesheets.

Accessing the website

If you access this app through a website, your browser sends ordinary requests for the page and its assets. A hosting or network provider may process technical information such as your IP address, request time, browser details, and requested URL. This is separate from your selected PDFs. Hosting-specific logging and retention depend on the provider and configuration; this policy does not promise that a hosted version produces no access logs.

If you open a downloaded copy locally, the app does not need to contact a server to merge your files. Following an external link, such as the pdf-lib link on the About page, takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can remove documents from the list, clear the list, or close the page at any time when processing is not in progress. Manage downloaded PDFs and browser caches through your device and browser settings. The app has no server-side document copy to delete or export.

Policy changes

If the app’s data practices change, this policy should be updated to describe them. The date above identifies the latest revision. Read this page again when using a later version.
