Terms of Service
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Please read these terms before using Just Merge PDF.
These terms cover your use of the Just Merge PDF merger. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
The service
Just Merge PDF is a free browser tool for combining PDF documents. No account is required. Features and availability may change, and uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.
Your documents and responsibilities
You retain any rights you hold in your source documents and merged output. Using the app does not transfer ownership of your documents to us. You are responsible for having permission to process the files you choose and for complying with applicable law and any duties of confidentiality.
Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe another person’s rights, interfere with its operation, or attempt to compromise its security.
Review your merged file
Keep copies of your original documents. Review the merged result before relying on it or sharing it. PDF features such as bookmarks, interactive forms, attachments, accessibility information, and digital signatures may be altered or lost. Filled forms are flattened into page content. Merging does not certify a document’s authenticity or preserve the validity of a digital signature.
The app accepts up to 100 MB of input files in total. Browser memory, file complexity, encryption, and unsupported PDF features can prevent processing or affect the result.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy describes local file processing and the distinction between your documents and ordinary website requests. You are responsible for protecting files saved on your own device.
Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free results. No provision in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, including loss of data or profits. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or removes any mandatory consumer rights.
Third-party software
The app includes pdf-lib under the MIT license. Third-party software remains subject to its own applicable license terms.
Changes to these terms
Revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Changes apply to use after they take effect, subject to any notice or consent requirements under applicable law.
